On Sunday 2nd June the Club held a mixed doubles tournament called the Atkinson Trophy. Which is in memory of Chris and Fred Atkinson who were amongst others founder members of the Club back in 1960.

The weather was perfect with bright sunshine and a gentle breeze to cool the players down. Six mixed pairs battled away in a round robin tournament.

Finally after 2 and half hours of play the winning pair were Lizzie Pawley and Xander McCabe.
