Mike is an LTA Accredited Plus Coach and has been head coach at MPLTC for over 25 years. He runs year-round programs and initiatives which include:

• Tiny tots tennis
• Mini tennis
• Junior groups for all ages
• Ladies mornings
• Training sessions for all adults
• Individual lessons are also available.

He runs tennis camps during the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays for juniors aged 5 to 11 years. He has 3 school links in place and they have coaching with Mike on a weekly basis during the school term.

As head coach, he oversees the 2 other professional tennis coaches and they all work to ensure we cover grassroots, development and performance levels. Mike believes that tennis is a sport for everyone and as well as having fun, everyone can improve.

As a tennis player, he represented Surrey and has won numerous Surrey county titles in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. He continues to compete at county level.
