Finals Days Winners

A huge congratulations to all winners of the Annual OTC Tournament, which took place at the Club on Sunday and featured 11 finals across our 5 courts!

Over 70 people competed in this year's tournament, with 25 people making it through to Sunday's finals, demonstrating the wide range of talent of our members.

Thank you to all those who came to watch and support - around 50 people were treated to some very close matches and good quality tennis, in addition to the traditional Chairman's BBQ and drinks. In addition, over £150 was raised for the Johnny Reynolds Foundation. Details of the charity are set out below for those who would like to donate.

Particular thanks goes to Mark Hallewell for organising the tournament, to Carol Hallewell for organising the Finals Day, and to our Chairman Jason Atkinson and his son Zac for putting on an epic BBQ. Thanks also to all those members who gave up their time to make the day a success.

The Johnny Reynolds Foundation

The Johnny Reynolds Foundation will provide suitable and relevant funding for children and young adults who might not have had the opportunities and privileged experiences that some children have been lucky enough to enjoy, in order to help them achieve their goals and aims within their chosen sporting fields.  The charity will enable sports teachers, coaches and instructors to apply for funding for individuals in order to support their sporting endeavours.

Be it a new pair of rugby boots, a new tennis racket, a donation towards a sports tour or simply some help to get to coaching sessions, the Trustees of the Foundation will carefully consider all the applications. Whether it is an item of sports equipment, clothing, or an experience, the Trustees believe that it must be appreciated and valued with the same level of enthusiasm, pride and fun that Johnny would want the recipient to enjoy!

It is a very generous, heart warming and lovely idea from Oundle Tennis Club to support the foundation at the Finals day on Sunday, if you felt you would like to make a small donation.
