This Privacy Notice outlines the way in which RADAR Tennis will use personal information provided to us. Personal information includes any information that identifies you personally, such as your name, address, email address or telephone number.
RADAR Tennis recognises the importance of your privacy and personal information; we have therefore outlined in this document how we collect, use, disclose and protect this information. Our contact details are provided below.
How we collect your information
We may collect your personal data in the following ways:
- Directly from you, when you fill in an application form, when you make enquiries on our website, when you provide information via the management software, or when you interact with us during your time as a member/player at our various venues
- From someone else (for example a family member or your tennis coach) who has provided us with your contact details for the purpose of enquiry or registration
- From your tennis club or venue.
The types of information we collect
We may collect the following types of personal data about you:
- Contact and communications information, including your contact details (i.e. email address(es), telephone numbers and postal address(es), date of birth, and records of communications and interactions we have had with you)
- Financial information, including Direct Debit details
- Certain other information which you volunteer (e.g. about your health or medical conditions so that we can cater for you/your child when attending a course/camp).
How we use personal data
Personal data provided to us will be used for the purposes set out at the time of collection and, where relevant, in accordance with any preferences you express.
More generally, we will use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Administration of your coaching participation, including: taking payment of coaching fees and fulfilment of orders for goods and services where this is necessary for the performance of a contract (including any written terms and conditions relating to your participation) with you
- Research and statistical analysis about who is playing tennis at our coaching venues
- To provide you with information about news, events, and tennis activities within RADAR Tennis or the wider tennis community
- To fulfil contractual or other legal obligations
- To maintain our accounts and records
- Storing your details on the software platform we use for our online business management system. Please note that your own use of the software or system is subject to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy published on that site.
Your marketing preferences
We will always respect your wishes in respect of what types of communications you wish to receive from us and how you wish to receive them. There are some communications, however, that we need to send you regardless of your marketing preferences in order for us to fulfil our contractual obligations to you as a member of our programme. Examples of these essential service communications are: records of transactions, such as payment receipts or Direct Debit confirmations.
You are in control of how we communicate with you. You can update your choices and/or your contact details by logging on to your ClubSpark account and updating your profile preferences, or by contacting us (contact details provided below).
Disclosure of information
RADAR Tennis will only share your personal information where this is necessary for the purposes set out above. Other than in connection with the above noted uses of your information, information will not be shared with any third party without your consent unless we are obliged or permitted to do so by law.
Storage and security of personal information
RADAR Tennis will strive to ensure that all personal information is accurate and held in a secure and confidential environment. We will keep your personal information for as long as you are a member or have regular contact with us or for a period of time after you have been a member or so long as we are obliged to keep it by law or may need it in order to respond to any questions or complaints or to show that we treated you fairly. We may also keep it for statistical purposes but if so, we will only use it for that purpose. When the information is no longer needed, it will be securely destroyed or permanently rendered anonymous.

Inaccuracies and objections
If you believe that any information RADAR Tennis holds about you is incorrect or incomplete or if you do not wish your personal information to be held or used by us, please let us know. Any information found to be incorrect will be corrected as quickly as possible.
You have the right to object to our use of your personal information, or to ask us to remove or stop using your personal information if there is no need for us to keep it. Please however note that objection to our using your information will affect your ability to engage with RADAR Tennis as a player. There may be legal or other reasons why we need to keep or use your data, but please tell us if you think that we should not be using it.
