Welcome to Bedfordshire's No.1 tennis club

Located close to the centre of Bedford, we offer you 9 floodlit courts, 3 of them covered in winter, and great value full membership for around £7 a week. With more than 600 members, Riverside is an active, inclusive and award winning club. Members benefit from team tennis, 5 social sessions a week, free adult coaching, a clubhouse with bar, shop, cafe and social activities.

We play tennis 52 weeks a year so why not start now. Tennis is great exercise for the body and is a truly social sport too. We have 3 courts covered by an airdome in winter, and outside we have 3 courts with artificial clay that play well in all weathers and another 3 courts with a tarmac surface.

Riverside is hosting an open day to give you a chance to come along and try tennis for free. If you are a total beginner or a low key professional come along and get involved. Our coaches and members will be on hand to help with your game and let you know how you can continue to play. The bar and cafe will be open all afternoon. You can book in for a free session using the link below, or just turn up on the day. Membership and coaching discounts available on the day to new participants.

NEWS Come and try out our new cafe the Lakeside  Kitchen which is open to members and non-members for breakfast, lunch and all-day snacks. Currently hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturdays 8am to 2pm.
