Highlights this month have been:

• End of Season do on 10th October. We had over 50 attendees again this year to enjoy a well organised evening bringing together our club members.  We raised £800 from the auction and raffle tickets from which we will donate a sum to Prospect.  It was great to see members from different sectors of our club coming together and having fun.  Thank you to Susie, Lynne, Keith and Liz for the planning and additionally to Anna, Paul, Pauline and Alan who supported on the evening.

• The singles box league is growing in popularity.  We have now started the second round with 18 players. 

• Pickleball numbers have had a steady growth over the summer, with 4 courts now becoming more frequent for a Sunday morning and 3 courts on a Wednesday afternoon. 

• Positive to hear from the coaching team about our junior members taking the opportunities to experience taking part in higher graded competitions, a well-attended half-term camp and also the continuing enjoyment of the Swindon’s Parkinsons Activity Group of walking tennis sessions on Friday afternoons.
