Weekly Play

There are three social tennis sessions throughout the week where everyone is welcome:

From 6:30pm on Wednesdays

From 6:30pm on Fridays

From 1pm on Sundays

Social tennis is exactly that, we encourage players to "mix in" and play sets together (sometimes full sets, sometimes to 5 and sometimes best of 5 depending how busy it is)  One of the committee members or more seasoned members will facilitate play and the setting up of games.  When playing, it is expected that players will use appropriate oncourt etiquette.  i.e.  hitting the ball to your apponent(s) based on the abilities of your apponent and not your own.  Ensuring that play is safe and using the session to develop more skill than power.

Social tennis is a great way to meet new players, have fun playing tennis and to enjoy the game.  Some of the matches are played at a high tempo / standard, others are not.

We remind peope of our safeguarding, diversity and inclusion policy when attending social tennis.
