In late October, Mick George confirmed a £10,000 grant for our clubhouse refurbishment project, and contracts have now been placed with local tradesmen.
The refurbishment will include essential external maintenance, a new kitchen and toilets, upgraded hot water, new furniture and a new table tennis table. We are very grateful for this funding, cheers Mick!
The project will be moving ahead over the course of the Autumn, and Graham and Maggie will be project managing this for us. There will undoubtedly be some disruption to the use of the clubhouse, including some days when the kitchens and toilets will be out of use. We will try and keep this to a minimum, and to give you advanced warning of dates.
