We enjoyed using the fantastic courts at DL Burton Waters for our first Aegon match of the season against Louth.
The sun was shining for a change and Stamford got off to a great start winning 3 out of 4 singles rubbers. We then had the doubles partnerships of Annabel and Evie as pair 1 and Maisy and Sophie as pair 2. Pair 1 got off to a great start winning their first set quite easily but then lost a bit of focus and allowed Louth to win the second set and third set tie break. We were then relying on Maisy and Sophie to bring home the win for Stamford which they did in great style.
We finished the day at 8-4 to Stamford - a great start to the season..!
