We are delighted to announce that our application for charitable status has been successful. We are now operating as a

Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, (SCIO), with our official name and register number being:

Strathaven Community Tennis Club, SC054148

Our charitable purposes are:

1. The advancement of public participation in sports.

and

2. The provision and organisation of recreational activities.

We currently offer competitive membership rates, (please see "membership" page), along with opportunities for social and competitive play for members and non-members.

Strathaven Community Tennis Club had another busy league season, with our Women's Team winning Division 4a and the Gent's 3rd Team being promoted to Division 6.

The Gent's 2nd & 4th Teams missed out on promotion by the narrowest of margins, while the 1st & 5th Teams have gained invaluable experience in their matches this season.

New for 2025 - Club Coach, Trevor Forsythe.

Trevor has been working with us for a few months and has already expanded his coaching services, working with groups of adults and children and also offering one-to-one lessons.

A new coaching programme, for adults and children, will be up and running when the new school term begins.

Full booking details will be uploaded on the "Coaching" page as soon as dates and times are confirmed.

Pickleball is now up and running. Members have access to the portable equipment and a Pickleball tournament has been added to our Club Championship events for 2025.

Pay-as-you-go sessions can be booked on the "coaching" page of the website.
