Taunton Green Park

There are two high quality tennis courts available to hire at Taunton Green on Cheddon Road.

Set in a residential area of Taunton, Taunton Green offers a fantastic space to play tennis with friends and family. It is a 20 minute walk from the busy Taunton train station and is close to local schools.

The park is well used and is maintained by Taunton Town Council.

Grab your racket and enjoy a game on the newly resurfaced courts. On site there is also a children's play area, multi-use games area and bookable sports pitch.

How to get here

The main entrance to Taunton Green is via Cheddon Road, where you will find the courts on your right as you enter. You can also access Taunton Green at the north of the site via Hope Corner Lane. Walk through the childrens play area and you will find the tennis courts to the left of the car park. The access gate is near the main entrance.

Booking

These courts owned and maintained by Taunton Town Council and operated by Somerset Council. The courts are managed by a booking and gate access system. The courts will be bookable for either an hour for £6 or you can purchase an annual household membership for £36 which will allow anyone in your household to book for the courts for a whole year at no additional cost. The annual household membership will also give you access to two high quality tennis courts at Vivary Park, Taunton, which are owned by Somerset Council.
