Tennis Squad is a multi-coach, multi-venue, multi-service tennis provider working across South Wales with partner clubs in Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, RCT and Newport.
Our programmes are thriving, demand is growing, and we’ve got some exciting ideas we’d love to bring to life - but our current coaching team is already maxed out. So, we’re putting out a speculative call for a qualified, enthusiastic coach who’d like to get involved in paid, part-time community coaching.
What could be involved
Depending on your interests and availability, opportunities may include:
- Intro courses for juniors
- Tennis Xpress for new and returning adults
- Cardio tennis
- Pan-disability or autism-friendly junior sessions
All sessions are evening-based, ideal for coaches with other regular daytime work who want to engage in an evening or two of fun, rewarding coaching on the side - and in the sunny summer season!
What we offer
- Flat-rate pay per session plus profit share
- Ongoing training, mentoring, and support
- The chance to help grow inclusive, welcoming tennis in the local community
What we’re looking for
- Minimum Level 2 tennis qualification
- LTA Accredited (or willing to become)
- Use of a car
- Great communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others enjoy tennis
