Ryan is a fully qualified LTA Level 3 Accredited Coach at Weymouth Lawn Tennis Club and The Wey Valley Indoor Tennis Centre.

Tennis has always been his passion and has been a loyal club member since the age of 5. He has competed in many junior competitions in and around the county. Ryan soon realised he soon wanted to pursue a career in Tennis coaching. He has worked closely with Head Coach Julien Lawes for many years.

He attended Weymouth College where he achieved “Triple Distinction” in BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Sports Coaching, Development and Fitness and was awarded Sports Student of the Year in 2011.

Ryan provides after School Tennis Clubs, Weekly Squads, Holiday Camps, Saturday morning Pay and Play, Primary School Curriculum Time Coaching, Group Coaching and Individual Lessons from Tots to Adults.

Ryan coaches throughout the year at many local Primary Schools delivering tennis as part of the National Curriculum. It’s here where he encourages young players to play more tennis and to join The Weymouth Tennis Club.

Ryan has an excellent knowledge of Tennis, Tactical and Technical and has the discipline to enable players to develop and progress through the coaching program. 

He attends regular courses to keep up-to-date with Junior and Adult Tennis including Safeguarding and First Aid.
