At our academy, we’ve developed a unique apprenticeship scheme that nurtures future coaches. Our coaching team operates as an interconnected pathway, where everyone supports one another to ensure the best experience for our players and community.

This tiered system creates a supportive coaching ecosystem, where knowledge, experience, and leadership skills are passed on at every level. By working together, our team embodies the spirit of TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More.

Coaching levels

🎾 Leaders:

· Support lead and assistant coaches during lessons

· Help set up equipment and demonstrate activities

· Help with events and competitions

· Serve as a positive role model for players

🎾 Assistant Coaches:

· Assist with delivering sessions and managing activities

· Can help manage and run lessons when a Lead Coach is present on the premises

· Mentor helpers and provide guidance during activities

· Continue developing their own coaching skills through training and feedback

· Assist Lead Coaches in organising and running events and competitions

📋 Lead Coaches:

· Responsible for planning, leading, and delivering lessons independently

· Guide and support Assistant Coaches and Leaders during sessions

· Take a lead role in organising and running events and competitions, with support from Assistant Coaches and Leaders

· Ensure the safety, engagement, and progression of all participants

· Communicate regularly with the Head Coach to uphold academy standards

🎓 Head Coach:

· Manages and supervises all the coaching activities and events and competitions

· Provides guidance, training, and development for all Coaches and Leaders

· Develops the annual lesson plan for the group coaching programme

· Oversees the quality and overall academy direction

· Ensures the academy’s values, safety policies, and standards are maintained
