Barnton Park has a number of junior teams with players ranging from  8 to 18. We have a strong tradition in the club of developing junior players and many go on to play for our senior teams.

Our annual Club Champs for Juniors took place this year on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August 2024. Lots of children entered the competition and enjoyed a fun, tennis tournament with their friends at the club. If your child hasn’t played in a tennis tournament before, it’s a great way to make that first step. We have age categories from U9 up to U18.

This year we entered five teams in the VMH Solicitors East of Scotland Summer Junior Tennis League. We had teams playing in the U10 Mixed, U12 Girls, U12 Boys, U14 Girls and U14 Boys. Matches are played between April and June against other clubs in Edinburgh and the surrounding area. These are great fun and a friendly introduction to competitive tennis. They are open to all Barnton Park junior members.
