Watch Roland Garros at Clubhouse 2024

Members are invited to view the French Open Grand Slam matches at our clubhouse.

The main tournament begins on Sunday 26th May 2024.

These matches can be seen on our new Samsung 50" QLED T.V. set.

We have recently installed the discovery+ app on this, and have a subscription that lasts over the whole tournament period.

To access this streaming channel on the T.V., click the "home" button on the remote control, and look for the discovery+ app.
Various matches can be selected to watch either live, or from their start.

Steve Edwards will be offering to give a brief demonstration on Saturday 25th May at 17:00.

Using the Remote - Navigating the Home Screen

Using the T.V. remote is very much intuitive. However, navigating around the various facilities, and apps would require a little familarisation.  The  discovery+ app has been placed near the start of the "home" screen, this screen always being accessible by pressing the "home" key on the larger remote.
 

The "home" key is located between the NETFLIX and prime video buttons. On the "home" screen, it is possible to  navigate to discovery+, iPlayer, ItvX, and other streaming apps. Live T.V. (over the aerial / i.e. terrestial), is best viewed by navigating to the menu on the left, going down to Connected Devices and choosing TV.

To Watch Roland Garros

Start the discovery+ app, ensure the heading For You is selected, then navigate down to the Live & Upcoming Sport section. Depending on the current date and time, you may be able to select a particular tennis match to watch live or from the start. (There may be dates / times when no tennis match can be watched.)
