We have a fantastic coaching programme at Beuachief Tennis Club which caters for all ages and abilities from the age of 3 upwards. For our younger players, we run sessions using the LTA mini tennis programme which provides the perfect introduction to the sport for children aged between 3 and 10 years. At each stage the game is tailored to fit different age groups with different sized courts and balls. Children then progress through the full ball coaching programme which takes them through to the adult game. Full details about which sessions are suitable for different age groups can be found here

Coaching Programme

Our main coaching programme for development players takes place on a Friday and Saturday as follows:

Mondays 7:00pm - 8:00pm: Full Ball Girls Group (Yr 7 and 8)

Fridays 4:00pm - 5:00pm:  Orange Ball Tennis Coaching (8-9yrs)

Saturdays 8:30 - 9:00am: Tots Tennis Tennis Coaching (3-5 years)

Saturdays 9:00am - 10:00am: Red Ball Tennis Coaching (5-8 years)

Saturdays 10:00am - 11:00am: Orange Ball Tennis Coaching (8-9yrs) & Green Ball Tennis Coaching (10-11yrs)

Saturdays 11:00am - 12:30pm: Full Ball Tennis Coaching (11 - 21yrs) 

We also run an Academy for our advanced players who look to train 2 or 3 times a week as follows:

Mondays 4:00pm - 7:00pm, Wednesdays 5:30pm - 8:30pm, Thursdays 4:00pm - 5:30pm

These sessions are by discussion/invitation with our Head Coach, Pete Ledbetter.

We are also proud of our links to the home schooling community and welcome parents and players to come and get involved at our club.  For Home educated children aged 6-16 and their paretns we are delighted to run a Home Education session on a Thursday at 2:45pm - 3:45pm

NEW BOOKINGS

If you are looking to join the programme part way through a term or are new to the club please get in touch via our ENROLMENT FORM to book in a free taster session and/or register for ongoing sessions. The team will then be able to confirm your booking shortly.

For any session that is cancelled due to bad weather we will always deduct the cost of that session from the next block or issue a refund if that’s more appropriate. 

Please note that due to limitations on numbers there will be no drop in sessions and all groups must be booked and paid for in advance.

Beauchief Tennis Academy

The academy is for players (and parents) who are willing to show more commitment to their tennis. With more hours of tennis per week, training camps during the holidays, an expectancy to compete outside of the sessions in tournaments and team events. We also encourage players to have 1-1 sessions where possible to complement their group sessions and match play. Please contact Pete Ledbetter for further information. Academy sessions are usually paid for via monthly direct debit (contact Jen Lewis for details) although can be booked via the links below. Please discuss which session should be booked with Pete:
