Junior Coaching at Beauchief

We have a fantastic coaching programme at Beuachief Tennis Club which caters for all ages and abilities from the age of 3 upwards. For our younger players, we run sessions using the LTA mini tennis programme which provides the perfect introduction to the sport for children aged between 3 and 10 years. At each stage the game is tailored to fit different age groups with different sized courts and balls. Children then progress through the full ball coaching programme which takes them through to the adult game. Full details about which sessions are suitable for different age groups can be found here

If you are looking to join the programme part way through a term or are new to the club please get in touch via email to admin@matchpointmanangement.co.uk to book in a free taster session and/or register for ongoing sessions.

RE-ENROLMENTS

For players currently on the coaching programme please use the following links to re-enroll. If it’s the first time that you’ve enrolled via the website you will be asked to create a free LTA account. Please ensure that you register as yourself and then further in the registration process you will be asked to add the details of your child. The following links are for the coaching programme starting Monday 2nd September 2024 or Monday 4th November 2024

For any session that is cancelled due to bad weather we will always deduct the cost of that session from the next block or issue a refund if that’s more appropriate.

We also run an Academy for our advanced players who look to train 2 or 3 times a week as follows:

Mondays 4:00pm - 7:00pm, Wednesdays 5:30pm - 8:30pm, Thursdays 4:00pm - 5:30pm

These sessions are by discussion/invitation with our Head Coach, Pete Ledbetter and can be booked using the links below.

We are also proud of our links to the home schooling community and welcome parents and players to come and get involved at our club. For Home educated children aged 6-16 and their paretns we are delighted to run a Home Education session on a Thursday at 2:30pm - 3:30pm (see booking links below)

Beauchief Tennis Academy

The academy is for players (and parents) who are willing to show more commitment to their tennis. With more hours of tennis per week, training camps during the holidays, an expectancy to compete outside of the sessions in tournaments and team events. We also encourage players to have 1-1 sessions where possible to complement their group sessions and match play. Please contact Pete Ledbetter for further information. Academy sessions are usually paid for via monthly direct debit (contact Jess Redfearn for details) although can be booked via the links below.
