Berkshire County Sports Tennis Club is based within the beautiful 32‑acre grounds of Berkshire County Sports Club in Sonning.
There are a wide variety of sports played at the venue such as hockey, rugby, football, squash, tennis & padel.
The tennis club offers social & competitive tennis, easy court booking, quality coaching and a great place to relax after play.
There are a range of membership options for juniors, adults & families.

Free Court Bookings for Members
Tennis club members can book courts for free when playing with other members, making regular tennis more affordable.
Coaching for All Ages & Levels
The tennis coaching program runs throughout the year & new players can join at any time.
Lively Club Sessions
Join Club Nights on Mondays & Thursdays from 5pm or Adult Social Tennis on Fridays at 10am — a great way to meet players of all levels.
Teams & Competition
Take part in the Berkshire summer & winter leagues, or join our Singles Box Leagues which run in a round‑robin format with promotions each cycle.
A Social Hub Right by the Courts
Relax in our spacious social facility featuring multiple TVs showing TNT Sports & Sky Sports, plus pool, darts, snooker, table tennis, food & drinks.
🎾Book a Court
Booking a tennis court is quick & simple:
- Members: Free when playing with other members
- Guest fee: £5 per non‑member guest
- Non‑members: £20 per hour per court (no restriction on number of players)
- Booking window: Up to 14 days ahead
- A confirmation email will include your 4‑digit gate code
🎾Tennis Lessons
Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or sharpening up for team tennis, we have a range of coaching options to choose from.
- Private tennis lessons.
- Term-time group coaching.
- Junior holiday camps.
🎾Events
We’re a club that loves to connect both on and off court. Join us for:
- Open days where everyone can try out the club.
- Box Leagues, league matches & other competitions.
- BBQs, social gatherings & monthly quiz nights.
🎾Facility Upgrades
We’re working with Berkshire County Sports Club & PadelStars to upgrade the tennis facilities, with brand‑new floodlit tennis courts & new Padel courts — planning permission has been granted.
