Winner, 2024 Bucks County LTA Award for Club of the Year

We’re very proud to announce that Bledlow Ridge Tennis Club has been selected as the winner of the 2024 Bucks County LTA Award for Club of the Year!

This recognises the efforts that the committee, volunteers, team captains, coaches, and everyone else involved has put into revitalising the club.

This has included repairing and repainting the courts, putting teams into the men’s, women’s and mixed local leagues, organising social tennis, running summer tournaments, installing floodlights, and of course getting fantastic coaching from our partners JWT Coaching.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped us achieve this!

Introduction

Welcome to Bledlow Ridge Tennis Club.

Bledlow Ridge Tennis Club is a small, thriving tennis club situated in the heart of the Chilterns in Buckinghamshire half way between High Wycombe and Princes Risborough. We have three full-size hard courts, two of which have brand new LED floodlights, and a small children's court, all of which were repaired and repainted in Spring 2022. Our small clubhouse is used for tea, coffee and cake after social tennis and matches.

During the summer we have regular Friday social doubles evenings, and in the winter regular Sunday social mornings, and we have a ball machine for hitting practice.

The mens, ladies and mixed doubles teams play in local summer and winter leagues.

Our resident coach, Sam Frost from JWT Coaching, organises classes and offers personal tuition for juniors and adults all year round.
