Club Defibrillator

Please Take 15 Minutes to Learn Life-Saving Skills

As you may know, our club’s defibrillator is located in the cupboard on the right-hand side after entering the clubhouse. It is now fully operational, with a new battery and pads installed.

Why is this important?
A defibrillator can save the life of someone experiencing cardiac arrest. Immediate CPR and prompt use of the defibrillator give them the best chance of survival until emergency services arrive.

What should you do?
We strongly encourage all members to complete the British Heart Foundation’s RevivR. This interactive training takes just 15 minutes and covers:

  • Calling 999
  • Performing CPR
  • Using a defibrillator

Using the defibrillator
When turned on, the defibrillator will guide you through each step with clear voice instructions. It is very simple to use. If someone is unconscious and not breathing, start CPR immediately then use the defibrillator. In the same cupboard, there is also a pouch with scissors, gloves, and other items to assist you.

It takes just 15 minutes
