Learn, develop, play!

The main aim of our coaching programme is to help players of all ages experience the full fun and excitement of tennis through:

  • learning the basics
  • developing their skills
  • playing the sport

We believe that learning tennis skills without playing the sport is like learning a new language but never using it!

Coaching sessions and other events are available for three groups of adult players:

  • Beginners - adults keen to learn the basics with other beginners in a friendly, fun environment; our Adult Beginner course will resume early 2026 and we’re planning to run courses regularly throughout the year
  • Improvers - players who have learned the basics and are now aiming to take their game to the next level by learning more advanced techniques and tactics
  • Cardio Trainers - Cardio Tennis is a high-energy fitness activity that combines the best features of tennis with tough cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, calorie-burning, aerobic workout. It’s suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

Pickleball

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. It's a fantastic social activity, suitable for players of all ages.  It can also be a challenging, fast-paced, and competitive sport when people become more experienced at playing.  We’ll be running regular Pickleball sessions throughout the year.

New block starts Tuesday 21st April for 10 weeks.
