Meet the 2025 Tennis Club Champions

After a summer full of exciting group and elimination matches, the grand finals of the Tennis Club Championships took place on Sunday, September 14th. The tournament had an incredible turnout, with many entries for both singles and doubles.

This year, Toby Jackson successfully defended his men's singles title, while Arif Kibria secured the runner-up position. Among the women, Sally Zhang claimed the title, with Virginia Rodriguez finishing as the runner-up. Toby Jackson and Arif Kibria secured the top spot in the men's doubles, with Benjamin Jarvis and Chris Pepper Brook as the runners-up. The mixed Doubles title went to Virginia Rodriguez and Jorge de la Rosa de Saa, who beat Tammy Wong and Benjamin Jarvis. The women’s doubles had to be rescheduled to a later date due to worsening weather conditions.

The Junior Championships also had a great turnout, and we congratulate Charlie Forbes for claiming the 9U title and George Gates for winning the 10U final.  In the 11-18 doubles final, Rishabh Das and Patrick Whitehorn (last year’s runners-up) claimed the title. Finally, Rishabh Das is also our new 11-18 singles club champion.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, main organisers Ben Jarvis and Toby Jackson, and all other volunteers, for making this year’s tournament memorable and successful.
