3 Tennis Courts Closed w/c 4th August: Please note that the top 3 tennis courts will be closed for 5 days from 4th-8th August for re-painting. Court 4 and the padel court will still be open and bookable during this week. Apologies for the inconvenience but we have to do this during summer months due to better weather (hopefully!) and higher temperatures.
Summer Holiday Camps now open for booking: Our summer camp sessions are back! They are great fun for the juniors and kids (aged 3-17 years), and always really popular. Dates this year are July: 29th, 30th, 31st, and August: 19th, 20th, 21st and 26th, 27th, 28th. They run from 9am-3pm each day and cost £23 for members and £30 for non-members. Maintenance Morning - Sat 13th September: If anyone is free and can spare a few hours on Sat 13th Sept, then we are running a Maintenance Morning to help with a range of club 'chores'! They are always fun and any spare bodies are more than welcome! Just come along from 9.30 onwards and Grant will find something suitable for you to help with!
Club Championships: Our Club Championships will take place on Sunday 5th October. The qualifiying sessions and matches will take place in the weeks ahead of this, with more details to be announced in early September.
Team Matches: We have a number of men’s, ladies and mixed teams competing in both the Derby and Burton leagues. These span a range of levels, so please let us know if you are interested in playing and we can direct you to the relevant team captain. Introduction
Church Broughton LTC is a long established LTA accredited Club with over 300 members. Our outdoor facilities at Bent Lane consist of 3 floodlit tarmac tennis courts a single unlit tarmac court with extra hitting wall and a Padel Tennis Court. We have an inviting clubhouse with a large open space, a table tennis table, 2 toilets, and a kitchen area.
Come and join us! The Club welcomes new members of all ages from experienced players to complete beginners and rusty returners. Head to our Membership Page to find out more about our membership options.
Visitors can also use the Pay and Play system operated by the club. Check our Booking Page for court availability times and use the online payments system to book and pay for the courts. The courts are not locked, so this is an honesty system. If it is dark, payment for the lights will be incorporated into court hire and paid for when booking and switched on in the cupboard next to the chalet; please remember to turn the lights off after use.
For experienced players and returners, we have teams which compete in both the Derby and Burton Leagues in both the Winter and Summer leagues.
We organise many social sessions, events and competitions purely for fun, so that even beginners can join in. There is a comprehensive coaching programme for juniors and adults.
