Coronavirus 

I wanted to provide you with an update on the measures being taken by Corby Tennis Centre relating to the Coronavirus. This is purely for information, no response is required.

1.    Approach - our approach is to follow the advice and guidance issued by the Lawn Tennis Association, the Government and other relevant organisations such as the NHS and Public Health England. We will also be adhering to tournament guidelines from the ATP/WTA/ITF for the relevant tournaments we stage, and looking at what elements of that is appropriate to apply in other areas of our activity. We receive the latest Government advice, and will continue to liaise with them and the LTA to inform our approach. According to the latest advice from the Government, there is currently no requirement to make changes to or cancel sporting events in the UK. 

As such, closure of the Tennis Centre is not recommended at this time. 

We shall continue to wipe down all door handles, tables and chairs etc on a continuous basis, and would ask that everyone who comes in to the Centre adheres to the hand-washing procedure displayed in all the changing rooms.
