New "WhatsApp" Groups

Fancy a game but need someone to play with?

We would really like to make it easier for you to find players of a similar level to play tennis with.  As such, we have created a "WhatsApp" group where you can locate players, and at the click of your phone, have a singles or doubles game sorted.  For obvious reasons, in order for you to be available for others to contact you must be willing for us to share your mobile number.

If you would like the opportunity to find other people to play with, or for them to be able to invite you, please look through the 4 suggested levels, and let us know by return which level you feel you are.  We can obviously help with this if you are unsure.  We can be flexible with this, so if you sign up for a level, and then find you are winning every set you play, we can move you up to the next level, or vice versa.  You could also opt out at any time.

There are also a number of terms and conditions, to prevent abuse of the groups details.  In simple terms, the WhatsApp group must only be used to invite people to play a game of tennis - anything other than this would result in removal of the offending person/s.

Guidelines for our WhatsApp players:-

Level A
Team players capable of Northants Division 1 or 2 level, or East Northants Division 1.  Good team standard.  Need to be able to compete and want to play good level practice.
Level B
Solid Club level players up to Division 3 Northants LTL, or Division 2 East Northants.  Players must be able to serve consistently and play a reasonably good level.  Must be able to serve and score and have an understanding of court positioning to enable a game to flow.
Level C
Low to average club level players, not necessarily playing club matches.  Keen to play more with people of a similar level, and improve your standard.  Should ideally have an understanding of scoring and of basic court positioning.
Level D
Beginner Level - wanting people of a similar level to have a hit with.  Might want to use low compression balls, to make having a good rally easier.  Knowledge of scoring and court positioning not necessary.

Please contact the centre with your level D.O.B and mobile details and we will give you a short form to complete and get you signed up.

Kind regards
Craig
