Summary
The first week of the Summer League features a local rivals week for the men, with 3 of the 5 matches being against the neighbouring Redland Green club. In addition to this our Men's 1sts and 2nds battled it on the clay, with both teams now in division 1 for a club first. Meanwhile on the Women's side, the 1sts started with a big win away on the astro of Bishop Sutton, whereas the 2nds lost out to Sodbury at home. All matches but the Men's 3rds completed on the night, when the lights at Redland turned off at 7-6 in the championship tiebreak. We returned on Monday to play 3 points and win the match!
