Opening day, Sunday 30th March from 11am

Everyone is welcome, especially those new to the area. Please come along and support your local club.

Junior players, morning session.

We will be running a session for all juniors from 11.00 to 1pm.

Hopefully the junior players will enjoy this better than mixing with the adults in the afternoon.

Adult players, afternoon session.

Dust off those racquets and come along for a fun day at the courts. Old hands and newcomers welcome at all levels.

Tea, coffee, cake and a raffle.

AGM, Thursday 27 February, 7:30 – 9:00pm

Morris Thompson Tournament

The Morris Thompson Tournament was held on Sunday 1st September from 2 - 4pm. Lots of people came along to take part in this annual competition in memory of Morris Thomson who gave so much of his life to tennis by coaching junior players from the club and many schools in Ayrshire. He is still sorely missed.

Knock-around-the-clock fundraiser

The club ran a fun 12 hour marathon on Sunday 18th August where play was continuous for the whole 12 hours. A good amount of money was raised not only by people who attended, but also by some members who contributed directly to the club's bank account.

The day finished just as the light was failing with the grown-ups playing a double-doubles match with players swapping positions and ducking shots. The ball was being hit higher and higher as the light was fading and as the ball became even harder to see which raised a lot of laughs.

Many thanks to everyone who took part to make this a fun day which even the poor weather couldn't spoil.

Welcome to Coylton LTC tennis club (SCIO Charity no. SC052814)

The club is situated in the village of Coylton, 5 miles from Ayr just off the main A70 and has a friendly, local village atmosphere. We play all year round, day and evening, on three outside all weather courts with floodlighting. The courts have the latest rubberised technology, a surface kind to young and old bones. The club offers social and competitive tennis and coaching for all ages and abilities and has a strong junior section.

Enquiries from anyone interested in tennis are warmly welcomed be they from experienced players, beginners, or rusties, that is people who haven't played in years. The club is run by the members for the members and to find out more about our friendly club why not have a look around our website, or contact us on coyltontennis@gmail.com. But better yet, come to the courts and get a feel for the club and our members.

Junior Summer Camp for 5-14 year olds

James (our coach) ran a series of Junior summer camp sessions every weekday morning during the summer months and it was enjoyed by all who attended. Thanks for running this James as it was much appreciated.
