Every child in Scotland will have the opportunity to try tennis after further investment of £1 million was announced to supercharge the national schools programme.
We're working in partnership with the LTA, LTA Tennis Foundation, sportscotland and the Scottish Government to capitalise on growing participation and recognise the inspirational achievements of many Scottish tennis stars in recent years.
The new funding will be invested into the LTA Youth Schools programme, which trains teachers across Scotland to deliver beginner tennis sessions and creates strong links between schools and local clubs.
