Fairford Tennis Club

At Fairford Tennis Club our main aim is to provide good tennis at a competitive cost in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. We welcome players of all ages and abilities.

Fairford Tennis Club is a small, friendly club with around 100 members, two floodlit hard courts (asphalt) and a wooden 'pavilion' in a beautiful location at the centre of the community (The Walnut Tree Field). We offer our members a range of facilities and events. This includes a varied programme of social tennis, a summer tournament, an active programme of junior coaching and events and competitive league team tennis. Social 'Club Night' sessions are held through most of the year on Wednesday evenings at 6.00pm and this session is usually quite popular - Join WhatsApp groups to know who else is planning to go (QR code displayed in the club hut). Prospective members are always welcome to come along and try out at these sessions.

'Drills' sessions on Friday evenings 6.30-7.30 p.m. - Ideal for those wanting to get back into tennis or simply have abit of fun keeping fit and practising their strokes.

Home League matches are on Sunday afternoons in winter and Tuesdays (Women) in the summer season.

Group coaching available for adults on Wednesday mornings and juniors on Mon/Tues evenings (see COACHING tab for details)

'Rusty Rackets' session at 11-12 on Tuesdays (for those looking to get back into tennis)

Courts are available for use by members at other times (see Booking)
