For the first time in 5 years, the club was absolutely delighted to have been able to hold a Ladies Singles Championship on Sunday 6th July.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the event and fed back that they fully enjoyed the day, with some great tennis on show. We certainly hope to build from this and hopefully grow the event in the coming years.

Congratulations to our two finalists, sisters Sophia and very promising junior, Luana Wild.

They produced a fantastic final, the result of which could have gone either way.

After a titanic battle and saving two match points, our victor was finally across the finish line. Massive congratulations to both players and our eventual winner............Sophia Wild who played superbly all day, in addition to battling back to eventually win a great final 7-5.
