A very successful Men's Doubles Championship, held over a single day, saw 10 teams compete to be crowned Club Champions 2025.

Firstly, a huge thank you to Wayne Stephenson, who managed the whole entry process and order of play on the day. The teams took part in two leagues, who played a 'round robin' format for the first part of the championship. The winners of league A played the runners up of league B and vice versa.

After some superb tennis, our two finalists emerged. Congratulations to Matty Loving & Ben Wrann and Dan Hanley & Jonny Shields who qualifed for the final.

And our eventual winners and 2025 Club Champions are:.......

Dan Hanley & Jonny Shields. Congratulations guys on playing through 4 sets of qualifying, and two extended set semi's and finals. On a hot and sunny day, you'd clearly left enough in the tank to get over the line.

Finally, it was great to see this event so well supported, both from players that represent all our mens teams (A to D), and from numerous spectators who came to show their support.
