Greenwood Park Tennis Club and St Stephen Parish Council are pleased to announce the re-opening of the public tennis court in September as part of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Rally initiative which aims to encourage more people to enjoy playing tennis. The Club has been awarded an LTA grant to install a new access gate, which will allow public use while adhering to the requirements of Covid-19 contact tracing.

People wishing to play on the public court (court 5) can book and pay online. They will then be given an access code for the allotted time. Players will need to follow LTA Covid-19 playing guidelines, use the hand sanitiser provided when entering and leaving the court, have marked tennis balls and stay socially distanced.

The booking fee is £8/hour and details are on the club website, which also covers coaching and club membership.

We are excited to be able to re-open the court for public use and hope you can make the most of this facility, exercising with friends in the early autumn weather.
