Tennis must be safe for everyone
We all have a shared responsibility to support the welfare of each other, in particular children, young adults and adults at risk whilst they are involved in any aspect of tennis at Gresford and Marford Tennis Club.
If you have any concerns about yourself or anyone else, please
- text or email our Welfare Officer, Chris Cheffings (07890 984091), chris_cheff@yahoo.co.uk
- or, call the LTA Safeguarding Team on 020 8487 7000 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) - particularly useful for whistleblowing as specified in our safeguarding policy,
- or, call Childline on 0800 1111,
- or, contact the Safe and Inclusive Tennis Team,
- or, if you wish to speak to someone outside of office hours, you can call the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000,
- or, if someone is in immediate danger, call the police (999).
We adhere to the safeguarding policies and processes of Gresford Trust, who own the community-led facilities at the heart of the village, including the Gresford and Marford Tennis Club courts. Safeguarding documents are accessible here.
