Coming Events

At Hillside LTC we have a wide range of tennis and social events for all ages.  A few of them are shown on this page but a lot more goes on at the club.  Why not join us and make some new friends!

Centenary Celebrations - Family BBQ

On Sunday 20th July we will be holding a special Family BBQ from 2:30pm until around 6pm.  As this is a centenary event there will be lots of special activities as well as the BBQ.  These include:

  • a display of club memorabilia;
  • free bouncy castle (parents must supervise their own children);
  • mini-American Tournament (book your place at the bottom of this page).

Please bring your own meat and alcoholic drink if you would like them.  Other accompaniments will be provided in return for a donation.  Offers of cakes, etc. would be great!

Competitive Tennis Events

A good range of both serious and fun tournaments are organised throughout the year, details will be added here a couple of weeks before each event.  You can download the HLTC Tournament Rules here and a copy is displayed on the clubhouse notice board.

Hillside LTC Club Championships 2025 - adult events

The draw for the adult section of the Hillside LTC Championships 2025 has now been made and can be downloaded from here: HLTC Championships Draw 2025.  The draw will be updated as the rounds are played so please inform the Tournament Referee at referee@hillsideltc.org.uk of the results as soon as you have played.  Please make sure that you complete the rounds by the dates shown and if there any difficulties please contact our Tournament Referee as soon as possible at referee@hillsideltc.org.uk.  Please make sure you are familiar with the HLTC Tournament Rules, as a reminder the first named pair in each round is responsible for contacting their opponents to arrange a day/time to play.

For juniors who have entered and are also considering entering the junior events please remember that there is a maximum of 3 events (whether junior or adult) that may be entered by any one person.

The Finals will be held on Saturday 6th September with a reserve day, in case of bad weather, of Sunday 7th September.  It is a strict condition of entry that you must be available to play at any time on both those days - if you become unavailable you must inform the Tournament Referee immediately and not play in any further rounds.
