Court bookings for members
COURT BOOKING SYSTEM
- Members can book courts online, via the BOOKING tab of the Hingham Tennis website
- Adult members can book courts up to one week in advance and for up to 60 minutes per session. Parents must book on behalf of a junior members.
- Each full adult member may book up to a maximum of two sessions at any one time . Players are not permitted to have more than two un-played sessions booked at any one time.
- Parents may book one session at any one time. on behalf of a junior member. Please note 'parent membership' package only allows for one named parent to play alongide the junior members so please upgrade to one of the adult/family membership packages or, pay the £5 pp/ hour guest fee, if your child member is not on court.
- If a member has booked a court but not turned up to play within 15 mins after the court booking time started, the court becomes free and other members can play on the court.
- To ensure members have the maximum opportunity to use the courts, members are asked to cancel their booking if they know they cannot play. Please do not book courts unless fully intending to play.
- Players aged under 13 years must be accompanied/supervised by an adult member. Court bookings require an adult/parent login.
- For small group bookings (up to 4 players) you may add the name(s) of all the players to your booking online by clicking 'add participant' or sign in all guests in the book in the hut. Please pay for guests online or via bank transfer or payment in cash (cash and manual sign in requires a swipe card to access the hut)- £5 per guest.
- Unlock the courts using your swipe card to access the padlock key inside the tennis hut, or use the combination padlock on the side gate. You are responsible for ensuring the courts and all gates are locked after play.
- Please ensure you have the correct footwear - non-slip and non-marking soles such as ' all court' tennis shoes.
- Players must ensure, to the best of their knowledge, they are fit to play and must not play against medical advice.
- For your own safety please do not enter the court area if the court surface is icy or excessively wet and slippery.
