'Hi, I'm Jonathan, born and bred in Norfolk. I've just entered the 5th decade of my life and am looking forward to all in store ahead. I started playing tennis at age 5 and enjoyed playing throughout my school and college days. I began coaching in early 2016 and I have loved learning more about the game and passing on some of my knowledge and skills to others. See you on court sometime soon I hope. From April 2023 Sam has stepped down as head coach for Hingham Tennis, but may be available for some individual coaching.

‘My name is Sam Howlett. I have been coaching for over 25 years full time, I have worked at a variety of venues including performance centres and Mark Warner Hotels in Greece! I started playing at the age of 16 and fell in love with the sport immediately and spent most of my life at the Tennis Club on court for about 12 hours a week. I still enjoy playing matches when I get the chance and playing socially as well! I am also something of a racket nerd, so if you need any advice on rackets, please feel free to have a chat!

Away from tennis I enjoy spending time with my family, trying to improve my new hobby I have become ever so slightly obsessed with skateboarding and being involved with the Royal Norfolk Show, where I am a Steward in the Grand Ring.
