Hingham Sports Hall, Watton Road
Note: All play is currently on hold due to Covid Restrictions
Pickleball is a racket sport combining elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is played on a doubles size badminton court indoors or outdoors, using paddles and a hard plastic ball over a tennis style net.
It is easy to learn, and social play can be enjoyed from the outset even as a beginner.
Pickleball can be tailored in play to adapt to all fitness levels, all that is required is a reasonable “eye for the ball” and a willingness to have fun and try. As you master the art, strategy and tactics become part of the play.
At Hingham we have an ever-growing number of Pickleball players. Our sessions are for players aged 16 - 105+.
(However, if you have a child under 16 years who is keen to play please do get in touch to discuss.)
Our play is usually in a doubles format, but singles play is possible too.
Our Indoor games are played using the three badminton courts in the Hingham Sports Hall.
Note: With Covid this play is currently on hold and will be until at least the middle of May. Do check back here though because we do hope to have sessions back in play as soon as possible.
Post Covid we aim to have Indoor Pickleball sessions every:
As soon as we have confirmed opening times for the sports hall, we will provide dates for future sessions.
Note: These sessions will still have limited number restrictions.
Sessions are pay and play at just £3 per session which is to cover court hire costs.
Paddles can be provided. As you improve and enjoy your sessions more, we can arrange for sampler sessions of paddles to buy.
Coach led sessions can also be arranged. Please get in touch to find out more.
