Numbers wishing to play Pickleball have increased rapidly in the past 12 months so pre-booking is essential! Numbers are limited to 16 per session across the 3 indoor courts to allow players to have plenty of Pickleball play!
We are seeing huge demand and despite adding extra sessions we are currently unable to accept new players. If you wish to join the waiting list for Friday or wednesday sessions please email: hinghampickleball@gmail.com. The Tuesday waiting list is closed I'm afraid.
Membership of Hingham Pickleball is just £5/ year. Once you have registered you can use the 'Spond' app to book a place up to 5 days in advance.
Pickleball- what's it all about?
Pickleball is a racket sport which is a mash up of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is played on a doubles size badminton court indoors or outdoors, using paddles and a hard plastic ball over a tennis style net.
It is easy to learn, and social play can be enjoyed from the outset even as a beginner hence its popularity.
Pickleball can be tailored in play to adapt to all fitness levels, all that is required is a reasonable “eye for the ball” and a willingness to have fun and try. As you master the art, strategy and tactics become part of the play.
