We very proud to announce that Horncastle Tennis Club have been chosen as only 1 of 50 clubs in the country to host The Davis Cup Trophy Tour.
Following last years momentous win by the GB Team, the Lawn Tennis Association is arranging a nationwide tour of the cup, giving the public probably a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the huge cup up close and personal. The Davis Cup- The World Cup of Tennis - is one of the biggest cups in sport, standing almost a meter high.
All LTA registered Tennis Clubs were given the opportunity to bid for a visit and Horncastle's bid was chosen to represent Lincolnshire clubs.
The Davis Cup will be at the club on Saturday 24th September 2pm to 8pm. Visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to enjoy free tennis and coaching during the day and have their photo taken with the trophy.
