Once again the gauntlet has been thrown down!

It’s time for us to bring out those ‘back bowls’, ‘blockers’ and ‘touchers’, and leave our ‘potato bowls’ at home!

Horsell Bowling Club has kindly invited the Horsell Tennis Club members to an annual social evening of bowls.

No experience of lawn bowls is necessary for you to join in.

This challenge has historically shown us that, although few, if any, of us tennis players have ever played bowls before, we are generally quite good at the game as we have good sight and an eye for a ball (no line calls in bowls 😊!), and we usually manage to play pretty well.

The Bowls Evening will take place

On:        6th August 2019

At:         18:30

Cost:      £3 per head, which includes supper but not drinks. Pay bar available.

Dress:   Casual, but flat (e.g. tennis) shoes are needed on the greens

Note that this is an adult only evening.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and the attendance list will be closed on 22nd June.

There's nothing more effective than a neighbourly competition to bring out the best in us!
