Summer '23 Junior Holiday Tennis starts MONDAY 24th JULY 2023 with two distinct Holiday formats. TUE, WED & SAT Sessions run 9am -12pm Mini's (9-10am, 9-11am & 10am-12pm all possible) & 12-3pm Juniors. MON, THU & FRI Sessions run 9am-1230pm & 1230-5pm with Country Cousins overseas students included. For those that already attend Saturdays, there is no change, i.e.9-10, 10-12 & 12-3. Lots of treats available plus PRIZES! & ICE LOLLIES! HOT DOGS!
Sessions continue every day, except SUNDAYS until Saturday 2nd SEPTEMBER.
COMPETING Mini's born 2013 or later can benefit from a FREE LTA (British Tennis) T-shirt & Hoody after completing 20 & 40 competitive matches respectively in any one ball colour (RED, ORANGE & GREEN). There will be some promotion for competing juniors born 2012 or earlier.
NB - MON, THU/FRI can accept 9-10am youngest Mini's CURRENTLY as we have NO overseas students in the mornings

MORNINGS - RED (8U), ORANGE (9U) & GREEN (10U) players
9-10am - coaching & games - aimed at beginners/improvers age 5-9
10am-12pm - coaching, games & competition - aimed at improvers/advanced age 7-10
NB - 9am -12pm, 9-10am, 9-11am & 10am-12pm all possible. ALSO these are the best days for youngest (typically age 5-8) beginners because MON, THU & FRI we have Country Cousins overseas students age 11-17 attending morning & afternoons
AFTERNOONS - GREEN (10U) & YELLOW BALL (11U & older) players
12-3pm - coaching, games & competition - aimed at improvers/advanced age 10+
MONDAYS, THURSDAYS & FRIDAYS - on these days we also have Country Cousins overseas students typically age 11-17 attending morning & afternoons with mixed ability - NB: 9-10am session is CURRENTLY possible for 4-7 year olds

NB - later start times & earlier finish times are possible
CHARGING: The two hour+ sessions are charged at £5 members & £6 non-members & the one hour 9-10am sessions (TUE, WED & SAT ONLY) are charged at £3 members & £4 non-members. Suitable players can attend mornings & afternoons charged at £10 members & £12 non-members. Public Family & Junior Membership is £35 is detailed further below
Players will need to bring a drinks bottle, suitable food for the duration or spening money for Bicclescombe Mill Team Rooms, sun protection e.g. hat/cap, sun screen & a rain mac. Players with allergies should be advised
IMPORTANT - if you are unsure of suitable mini & junior sessions please contact Gary Tovey . Mini & Juniors players can be booked in advanced, especially new players. More regularly attending players can be accommodated on a more ad hoc basis. We will battle through any bad weather, but appreciate some mini's & juniors may not want to attend in the harshest of conditions.

These groups are used to promote competition opportunities during the summer holidays & we especially want Mini's & Juniors to consider the Devon County Championships in Ivybridge from 20-26 AUGUST 2023,

REVISED PUBLIC FAMILY & JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP (2023/24) - £35 for a full year, includes all juniors in the family, typically £1 discount on sessions e.g. one hour sessions & the 2 hour junior club night (WED) are £4 members & £5 non-members. 1.5 hour & 2+ hour coaching sessions are typically £5 members & £6 non-members. This "Public Family & Junior" membership includes FREE court booking for family usage throughout the year.
We also have tennis specific rackets, clothing & footwear at heavily discounted prices. Just ask for more information...& we have just restocked vibration dampeners (dumbies) & various bright coloured overgrips & they are still just £1 each!
