The Parktennis Social is a fun, free weekly tennis event. It is held every Saturday from 10am-11am and is family orientated, catering for players of all ages and abilities.

Every event is run by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers which ensures they are able to remain free for all members of the local community to attend.

MAIN EVENT

The Social caters for anyone aged 10 and above and includes a variety of fun tennis games. Players are placed into appropriate levels of ability and everyone plays the same games against players of a similar ability.

PARENT AND TOTS EVENT

For the youngest members, aged 3-5 years old, we provide a parent and child court where parents can bring their children and enjoy playing fun tennis games and basic sports skills. We provide all equipment for the session so simply register and enjoy introducing the wonderful sport of tennis to your children. Parents are required to do the activities with their children.

JUNIOR EVENT

Our Junior court caters for those aged 6-9 years old. Similarly to the parent and child court it is a combination of fun tennis games and challenges. Children participate in their own peer groups and develop their skills alongside friends through our activities. Parents are required to supervise their children but may play in the Social whilst their child plays on the junior court.

REGISTERING

All the Parktennis Socials are free to attend. They require all participants to register via their website prior to attending their first event. Click here to register now. Once you have registered then you can simply turn up each Saturday and enjoy the event.

CANCELLATIONS

The safety of participants always comes first and should we feel that the weather dictates we cancel the event then our volunteers will post messages on our facebook and twitter sites so please ensure you follow our pages so you are kept up to date with the latest information.
