Wimbledon
During the summer there are a number of opportunities for regular club players to play at The All England Lawn Tennis Club, aka Wimbledon.
One of these is the Vodaphone Play Your Way to Wimbledon that was introduced in 2022 to replace the longstanding and very popular Road to Wimbedon. Previous national winners from Lincolnshire are Jade Windley and Samantha Vickers with Ruby Cooling runner up in 2021. This event for 14&U players is first run at clubs with winners going through to a county final payed at Lincoln Eastgate on the last Satursday and Sunday of Wimbledon. The winners of this event then go through to play at Wimbedon in August. From 2022 there is also an opportunity for 18&Us to play in a doubles event with qualifying from a regional event rather than county. You can read more by following this link
