Safeguarding and Welfare
At Louth Tennis and Sports Centre we do our very to ensure we all have a safe, inclusive and enjoyable time at the Club whether you are a social player attending the regular squads or you or your child is a performance player with higher aspirations and goals.
We take safeguarding very seriously at Louth and try to do our best to ensure our junior players are well supervised and can enjoy their tennis in a safe, welcoming and encouraging environment. All our coaches are fully trained in safeguarding. If you have any concerns particularly about a child or young person, please take a minute to speak to one of them initially. They will pass the concern onto Rachel Opie (Welfare Officer) or Amy Knott (Deputy Welfare Officer). We, in turn, have links with the county safeguarding officer as well as trained staff at the LTA and they with other professionals who can be brought into help and support as necessary. All safeguarding concerns reported are fully investigated and dealt with accordingly.

The poster there also gives a link to the LTA safeguarding team should you wish to contact them directly however, the ltscwelfareofficer email is checked regularly and the coaches and cafe staff have my direct phone number should you prefer to contact me by telephone.
Just a reminder to those of you with children - no child under the age of 11 (Year 7) can be left unsupervised at the Club. As parents, it is your responsibility to ensure your child is safely delivered to the coaching squads and collected promptly at the end of the session. Please can I also remind you that takng photographs and videos of your child(ren) on court is not permitted unless it is a one to one lesson with a coach and the video is for instruction and/or private family purposes only.
