Lower Windrush Tennis Club

Lower Windrush Tennis Club is a friendly, local tennis club in Standlake, West Oxfordshire, open to anyone from beginner level, through to rusty rackets and seasoned players with around one hundred and fifty members. We offer three excellent, well-maintained, floodlit, hard courts and courts are available to non-members, who can book a court through the "Booking" page.

If you are a member, or you would like to become a member and want the opportunity to play tennis, for fitness, as a social activity or more competitively we have many opportunities at LWTC. We have regular adult and junior coaching.

Throughout the year we have several tournaments running.  These will be listed under the Tennis Tournament website page.

We play the annual social cricket match against the Black Sheep at Oxford Downs every June. This is a great evening, you don't need to be a cricketer to sign up!

We work closely with Excel Tennis to help with the development of young players.

Our Club Nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays are hugely popular and run throughout the year. Open to all adult members you are welcome to join in whenever you like. Contact Georgina georgina@lwtc.org.uk  to get on the What's App group for updates.
