Lymm Lawn Tennis Club

Bye-Laws  

1. No play shall take place on grass courts before 11am each day. 

2. No play shall take place on grass courts when damp. 

3. SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH. 

4. Appropriate tennis clothing and shoes shall be worn on all courts. 5. Tennis courts are booked in 30 minute slots using the online court booking system on  the club website - https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/LymmLtCrocquetClub 

6. Playing members of the Club may invite non-members to play on a maximum of 3  occasions per annum. 

7. On each occasion the current visitor’s fee must be paid. Thereafter they must make  formal application for membership of the Club, and await approval before further play  may be enjoyed. The limit of three occasions applies also to Non-Playing or Social  members. 

8. Smoking is banned totally within the main body of the clubhouse but allowed on the  veranda during summer months when the shutters are open. 

9. No person under 18 years will be served with intoxicating liquor on the Club’s  premises. 

10. Well behaved dogs are permitted in the clubhouse, veranda and surrounding areas  provided they are kept on a short lead at all times and not left unattended or tied up. 11. Dog owners should be considerate of others and be aware that some children and  adults may be afraid and uncomfortable close to dogs. 

12. Cycling on grassed areas of the Club grounds is prohibited. 

13. Parents are responsible to ensure their children’s behaviour is acceptable at all times.  Parents must also ensure that juniors wear appropriate tennis clothing and shoes, as  above. 

14. Children under 7 are not allowed in the clubhouse without adult supervision.
