Meols Parade Gardens
Please be aware that the Meols Parade tennis courts will be closed for referbishment between the 29/6 - 13/7.
Tennis courts across Wirral will reopen from Friday 12 June (except The Oval and Bidston Tennis Courts).
Before visiting a court, ensure you are prepared by following the below instructions. This is to protect the safety of yourself, our staff and other users.
🎾 Courts must be pre-booked online
🎾 Keep all access gates open at all times
🎾 Allow others to leave before you enter the court - wait away from the gates
🎾 No competitions, coaching or group sessions
🎾 Play with members of the same house or one individual from another house only
🎾 Maximum of 2 players per court (unless players are all from the same household)
🎾 All litter and discarded items must be taken away and disposed of by court users
🎾 No shaking hands or physical contact with other players
🎾 Only handle your own racket and personal (marked) tennis balls
🎾 Follow Public Health guidelines around hygiene
🎾 Avoid changing ends or change at opposite sides of net
🎾 Maintain social distancing at all times
Welcome to Meols Parade Gardens Tennis Courts
The gardens were constructed on land reclaimed after the construction of the promenade. Work started in 1908 and the gardens opened in 1909.
Located on the promenade, Meols Parade gardens offer stunning scenic coastal views with access to the beach close by.
