Merchiston LTC

Welcome to Merchiston Tennis & Bowling Club, Edinburgh.

We are a local friendly club with a combined membership of around 450 tennis, bowling and social members.  

The combined club runs a busy Clubhouse with Bar, Large-screen TV, kitchen facilities.  We have 3 all-weather artificial grass tennis courts with LED floodlights plus a beautifully maintained bowling green.

Our courts have recently been replaced, part funded by EB Scotland through the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund.  We are very grateful for their contribution.

The Clubhouse is open year-round (though open less in the winter) with sport often on the big screen on Wednesday evenings and weekend days. There is a monthly quiz night and various other social events throughout the year.  The clubhouse is also available for private functions and other community uses.

The Club always aims to attract and keep members, especially bowling members, tennis team players and tennis family members with children, to build on its coaching and other attractions. We are very hands-on with participation from members and their families crucial to helping events, especially social ones, being a success.
