A pair from Elland Tennis club won Saturday’s mixed doubles tennis tournament after a hard fought final against Mirfield’s Helen Carbutt and Andy O’Donnell. Abigail Young & Alasdair Whiteley beat Helen & Andy in the thrilling one set final. It ended a day of competitive games with pairs competing in two groups to reach the semi finals. Players kept the kitchen busy with sales of home baked goods.
