Coaching Package

Our Park Tennis venues are LTA Registered & the coaching passes will allow us to continue to meet the LTA coaching safeguarding standards and ensure players can still access the Park Courts to play. We have a coaching package and general hire pass available.
The opportunity:
Elmbridge Borough Council is inviting applications from Level 3 or above tennis coaches to run their tennis coaching business on any of the following Park Tennis sites:
- Molesey Hurst recreation ground (3 court site)
Expectations:
- To apply and deliver tennis coaching across sites that you & your coaching team can manage.
- To preferably start coaching sessions on 1st April 2021 (date will be adjusted for prorgammes starting later)
- To preferably start at Molesey Hurst in May 2022.
- To develop and deliver an effective, inspiring and sustainable community tennis programme for people of all ages and abilities.
- To provide attractive opportunities for casual and recreational players who perceive joining a club to be too formal for their needs to access tennis.
- To support any Council and LTA initiatives where appropriate.
- To provide provision for players with disabilities and/or impairments
- To provide termly programme statistics to the Council (Spring, Summer, Autumn).
Programme minimum requirements
- To run afterschool groups on Thursdays during term time for ages 5 to 16 yr olds at Molesey Hurst

Important to note
When we have appointed a coach or coaching provider to run coaching at Molesey Hurst we will update the website details. We have not appointed anyone yet, which means no coach has permission to run any form of coaching on these courts. If you witness coaching on the courts please email parkstennis@elmbridge.gov.uk.
