Park Tennis Updates

Court Playability Notice: Our outdoor courts are weather-dependent and may take additional time to dry after rain. Please do not play in icy or snowy conditions or attempt to clear ice or snow.

Courts are regularly maintained; however, wet weather can reduce the effectiveness of ongoing moss treatments and affect day-to-day playability. Thank you for your understanding.

Starting March/April 2026

We are pleased to announce that a new Civic Centre coaching programme will launch in March/April 2026, following a successful application by David Kane who operates his business, Versatile Tennis Players. Further updates will be shared below once more details are confirmed.

If you have any questions or wish to register in advance, please contact David directly at David@VersatileTennis.com

Pay & Play fee change - effective 1 April 2026

From 1 April 2026, the Pay & Play court booking fee will increase by 25p to £6 per hour.

This adjustment supports ongoing court maintenance, gate access systems, booking technology, and long-term sustainability of the park tennis facilities.

The Play Tennis Pass remains £40 per year for households, providing excellent value for regular players.

We understand pricing changes matter, which is why we have created a Charges information page to answer any questions you may have. Please view the Charges information first before contacting us with any questions not covered.
